LAYERED CHICKEN SALAD 
1 box Waverly crackers
1 can sliced water chestnuts
2 sticks butter
3/4 can water
1/2 c. sour cream
1 can chicken & mushroom soup
1 fryer, stewed, boned & broken in pieces

Layer 1: 1/3 box crushed Waverly crackers.

Layer 2: 1 can sliced water chestnuts.

Layer 3: 1 stick butter, slice and dot over chestnuts.

Layer 4: 1 fryer, stewed, boned, broken in pieces.

Layer 5: 1 can chicken mushroom soup mixed with 3/4 can of water and 1/2 cup sour cream.

Layer 6: 1/3 box crushed Waverly crackers.

Layer 7: 1 stick butter, slice and dot over crackers. Bake at 375 degrees until bubbly, 20 to 25 minutes.
