BAKED SLICED POTATOES 
4 lg. baking potatoes
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. salad oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning

Cut pared potatoes into 1/4 inch thick slices. Place overlapping slices in buttered glass 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Mix melted butter and oil. Brush slices with mixture. Pour remainder over potatoes. Sprinkle with garlic, salt and seasonings. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until potatoes are done and brown at the edges. Serve immediately.
