OATMEAL BRAN MUFFINS 
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. all bran
1 1/4 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1 lg. egg, lightly beaten
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c, vegetable oil
1 1/4 flour, sifted
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease or spray 12 muffin cups. Put oatmeal, bran and milk into a mixing bowl.

Add egg, brown sugar and oil and beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients, stirring only until mixed. Fill muffin cups half full. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon/sugar mixture. Bake 20 minutes.
