OLD FASHIONED COCOA FROSTING 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. cocoa
3 2/3 c. powdered sugar (1 lb.) box
1/2 c. mints
1 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. crushed peppermint candy (optional)

For 1/2 recipe; use 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar.

Melt butter over medium heat in saucepan. Add cocoa, heat just until mixture begins to boil, stirring constantly. Pour into small mixer bowl - alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating to spreading consistency. Blend in vanilla. Add candy. Spread frosting while warm.

Will frost 8 or 9 inch layer cake.
