TOPPING: 2 tbsp. flour 2 tbsp. butter 5 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. nuts, chopped COFFEE CAKE: 1 1/2 c. flour 1 c. sugar 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. sour cream 2 eggs Sift together dry ingredients. Add sour cream and eggs, beat only until well mixed. Spread 1/2 dough in loaf pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 topping. Add rest of dough, sprinkle with remaining topping. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. | |

Wasn't sure this would turn out, but it did and was pretty good. I did follow the instructions to the letter, but the batter was awful to mix up. The end result wasn't dry, which surprised me, but I guess the butter in the topping mix helped that aspect.
