"RED'S" CORN CHOWDER 
2 cans creamed corn
2 cans whole kernel corn
6 slices bacon
1 sm. onion (chopped fine)
2 cans evaporated milk
1 pt. Half 'n Half
3 med. potatoes (cubed)
dash of nutmeg

Cook bacon in large heavy bottomed pan until crisp. Set aside. In the bacon drippings, saute onion until opaque. Add potatoes and barely cover with water. Simmer until barely tender. Add the corn, undiluted can milk and Half 'n Half. Heat but do not boil. Add seasonings and crumbled bacon.
