CREME DE MENTHE SQUARES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can (1 lb.) chocolate syrup

2ND LAYER:

1/2 c. butter
2 1/4 c. confectioners' sugar
3-4 tbsp. creme de menthe

3RD LAYER:

1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate chips
6 tbsp. butter

Combine first 3 ingredients in bowl. Add flour, salt, vanilla and syrup. Beat. Pour in ungreased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees 30 minutes. Cool.

Combine ingredients for second layer. Beat well. Spread over cooled cake layer. Refrigerate until firm.

Melt chocolate and remaining butter. Pour over second layer. Refrigerate to cool. At room temperature, cut into 1 inch squares.
