BEST LIVER PATE 
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 eggs
1 lb. chicken livers
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. butter
1 c. heavy cream
1/2 tsp. allspice

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine onion and eggs; blend at high speed. Add livers and blend 3 minutes. Add rest and blend on high until smooth.

Grease 1-quart pan. Pour in pate and cover with foil. place pan in a pan of hot water. Bake 3 hours. Serve with party breads.
