BAKED INDIAN PUDDING 
1 qt. milk
1/3 c. yellow cornmeal
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. molasses
3/4 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Heavy cream

Scald milk in double boiler, then add cornmeal and salt. Cook 25 minutes, stirring to prevent sticking. Add molasses and spices. Mix well. Pour into greased 8"x10" baking dish. Bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours. Pour cream over individual servings, serve warm. Serves 6 to 8.
