CHEESE GRITS 
3 c. cooked grits
2 sticks butter, melted
6 tbsp. half & half cream
1 lb. N.Y. sharp cheese, grated
6 well beaten eggs
1 tsp. cayenne pepper

Cook grits. Warm grits mix best. Combine all ingredients (except save 1 cup of cheese for top). Place in casserole. Bake 1 hour at 250 or 300 degrees. Serves 12.
