1 c. plain flour
1 c. water
1/2 c. salt
Few drops food coloring
2 tsp. cream of tartar (do not omit)
1 tbsp. cooking oil

Mix dry ingredients in heavy aluminum saucepan. Add oil, water and food coloring. Cook 3 minutes or until mixture pulls away from sides of pan. (You may add few drops of oil of wintermint, cloves, or cinnamon for pleasant aroma.)

Knead slightly, almost immediately. Store in an airtight container. Will keep several weeks. Has pleasing texture and non-toxic.
