EASY ROAST BEEF MELTS | |
Goes good with steak fries! thin-sliced deli roast beef 1 (15 oz.) can beef broth (Swanson) 1 small onion, chopped 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained 1/2 tsp. olive oil deli Swiss cheese slices deli sub buns mayonnaise or Miracle Whip Slice onions. Heat small skillet on medium, add half a teaspoon of olive oil, add onions and sauté, add mushrooms. Set aside. Toast both sides of sub buns and add mayonnaise to them. In medium saucepan heat roast beef slices in beef broth until hot. Add beef slices to bun. Top with onions, mushrooms and Swiss cheese. Put in toaster oven and let cheese melt. To serve, cut sandwich in half and serve with hot broth for dipping. Submitted by: AJM |
