SCALLOPED CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 head cabbage, diced sm.
1 pkg. Saltine crackers
1 pt. whipping cream (1 can Milnot can be substituted)
Salt and pepper to taste
2-3 tsp. butter

Put thin layer diced cabbage in 2 quart casserole dish. Add thin layer crushed Saltines, salt and pepper each layer and put small dab of butter. Repeat layers until all cabbage is used. Add milk and bake at 325 degrees, covered, until cabbage is tender, usually 45-60 minutes.
