CHOCOLATE FILLED CUPCAKES | |
1 c. granulated sugar 1 c. boiling water 2 sqs. unsweetened chocolate 2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 12 cupcakes 1/3 c. confectioners' sugar Combine first four ingredients in top of double boiler. Cook, stirring, until thick. Remove from fire. Add butter and vanilla. Cool. Bake or buy dozen cupcakes. Remove a small "divot" from top of each cake with small knife. Put a tablespoon of chocolate filling in each cake. Replace "divot", pushing it into the filling gently so that the chocolate shows. Dust tops with confectioners' sugar. |
