NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST 
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. (scant) salt
1 1/4 c. lard (room temperature)
1 egg, beaten
5 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. vinegar

Blend dry ingredients with lard. Add water, egg and vinegar, which have been mixed together. May be re-rolled, frozen in a ball and thawed and rolled - just can't goof up. Makes 2 double pie crusts.
