BARBECUE BRISKET 
4-5 lb. brisket of beef

Brush liquid smoke on brisket. Cook 7 hours or overnight at 200 degrees. Remove from juice and let stand all day. (Discard juice.) Slice brisket very thin and put in layers in baking dish. Spread each layer with the following Barbecue Sauce: 1 c. barbecue sauce 2 tbsp. prepared mustard 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 onion, finely chopped 1/2 c. ketchup Some salt or garlic salt Approx. 1 c. water to it makes 4 c. sauce total

Bake, covered with foil for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Serve on buns with dill pickles, salad and Starlit's Picnic Potatoes.
