WILTED LETTUCE SALAD 
4 slices bacon, cut up
1/4 c. vinegar
2 bunches leaf lettuce, shredded (about 4 c.)
1/3 c. chopped green onions
2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
3 eggs

Fry bacon until crisp in a 10" skillet. Mix eggs with vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Add to skillet and heat until hot. Remove the skillet from the fire; add lettuce and onion. Toss 1 to 2 minutes, until lettuce is wilted. Makes 4 servings.

Dill wilted lettuce: add 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed.
