SPINACH DIP 
1 pkg. dry vegetable soup mix
1 c. sour cream
1 c. mayonnaise
1 can water chestnuts, chopped
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped spinach
3 sm. green onions or 1 med. onion, minced

Thaw spinach. Rinse, drain and squeeze excess liquid out of spinach. Drain and chop water chestnuts. Chop onions. Combine all the above ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Chill 3 hours. Serve.

Serving Suggestion: Cut out the center of an unsliced loaf of Hawaiian bread and fill with dip. Use bread for dipping. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
