SPINACH DIP 
10 oz. pkg. frozen spinach, thawed and drained
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, chopped
1 sm. onion, grated
1 c. sour cream
1 c. mayonnaise
1 pkg. dry vegetable soup mix

Mix together all ingredients. Refrigerate overnight. Serve with crackers, bread or vegetables.

(An attractive way to serve this dip is to cut a round section out of a loaf of sourdough bread and fill with dip. Use the bread cubes for dipping.)

Heather uses 8 ounce cream cheese and 1/4 cup mayonnaise instead of 1 cup.
