CHERRY MERINGUE DESSERT 
25 Ritz crackers, crushed
1/4 c. butter
4 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 can cherry pie filling
Whipped cream or Dream Whip

1. Crush crumbs and mix with melted butter.

2. Press into 8 1/2 x 11 pan.

3. Beat egg whites and add sugar one tablespoon at a time.

4. Spread meringue over crumbs and bake 12 minutes at 400 degrees. It will puff up and then cool down.

5. Cool and spread cherry pie filling over top.

6. Spread on whipped cream and refrigerate. Serves 12.
