DEATH BY CHOCOLATE (TRIFLE) | |
1 lg. brandy snifter or lg. glass bowl 1 sm. chocolate cake 2 batches chocolate pudding (not instant) 1/4 c. kahlua (optional) 2 Cool Whip (12 oz.) 5 Heath bars, chopped reserve 2 tbsp. for garnish Bake cake, cool, cut into thin slices and line inside of bowl with cake (press cake against sides to keep it on sides). Drizzle cake with kahlua (optional). Spread pudding over cake bottom. Sprinkle 1/2 of Heath bars over pudding. Spread 1 container of Cool Whip over pudding. Layer 2 - repeat as above, sprinkle reserved Heath bar on top, Cool Whip before serving. Could use red and green cherries or sprinkles for Christmas will keep 3 days. Serves 16-20 people. |
