CHRISTMAS CARAMEL CHEWS 
3 sticks butter
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 12 oz. bag semi-sweet chocolate morsels
64 caramels
10 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. salt

Crumb first 6 ingredients together. Spread in 9x13 inch pan, reserving 1/3 of mixture for top. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle bag of semi-sweet chocolate morsels over baked oatmeal mixture. Melt caramels and milk and pour over the top. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over this and bake 15 minutes more at 350 degrees.
