SALSA 
1 (28 oz.) can of tomatoes in puree
4 fresh tomatoes, peeled
1 medium onion
1 sm. bunch of scallions
1 clove garlic
3 green chilies, seeded
1 or 2 fresh jalapenos
Juice of 1/2 lime
Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1: Fine chop onion by hand, put aside

Step 2: Slice bottom of scallions, put aside.

Step 3: Blend remaining ingredients, including scallion tops in food processor.

Step 4: Add onion and scallions and mix.

Step 5: Chill.

Step 6: Serve with tortilla chips.
