APPLE FRITTERS 
2 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
3 eggs, slightly beaten
2/3 c. milk
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 (20 oz.) can Comstock sliced apples, drained sugar and cinnamon; optional

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except apples. Chop apples coarsely. Fold into batter. Drop by tablespoons into hot fat (375 degrees) and fry until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes). Roll in cinnamon and sugar, if desired. Makes 2 1/2 dozen fritters.

I use powdered sugar to roll them in.
