MEATBALLS 
3 lb. ground chuck
1 lb. Italian sausage, casing remove cut into 1" pieces
1 lg. onion, chopped fine
1 med. green pepper, chopped
2 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
2 tsp. oregano
2-3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. red pepper, ground
4-5 drops Tabasco sauce
1 tbsp. parsley
1 lg. clove garlic, minced or garlic powder

Combine all ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. Drop into sauce and simmer 4-5 hours. Do not stir until you know meatballs are firm. (Skim grease from top as it forms.)

SAUCE FOR MEATBALLS:

1 qt. tomatoes
1 lg. tomato paste
2 lg. tomato sauce
2 c. water
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp. paprika
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. red pepper
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. oregano
1 can mushrooms, drained

Mix thoroughly before adding meatballs.
