HEARTY HAM AND POTATO CASSEROLE | |
1 c. cream style cottage cheese 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 tbsp. garlic seasoning 1 tsp. paprika 1 tsp. minced onion 1/2 tsp. basil 3 c. hash brown potatoes, thawed 2 c. cooked ham, cut into bite-sized strips 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese In a medium bowl, combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, garlic, paprika, minced onion and basil seasoning until well blended. In ungreased 6x10x2 inch baking dish, place half of the hash browns. Spread cream cheese mixture on top; top with ham. Sprinkle cream cheese mixture on top; top with ham. Sprinkle half the Mozzarella cheese over. Top with remaining hash browns. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Top with remaining cheese; return to oven for 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese melts. Makes 6 to 8 servings. |
