1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
1 c. sweet milk
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract

Cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time and beat. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add flour mixture and milk alternately. Beat well. Add vanilla and lemon. Bake in tube pan. Grease sides and tube. Line bottom of pan with wax paper. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
