GERMAN CHOCOLATE CARMALE BARS 
14 oz. caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted butter
1 c. chopped pecans
6 oz. chocolate chips

Melt caramels with 1/3 cup of evaporated milk. In separate bowl mix cake mix with 1/3 cup of evaporated milk, 3/4 cup melted butter and 1 cup of chopped pecans.

In a 9 x 13 inch pan spread 1/2 cake mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over mixture then pour caramel mixture. Top with remaining cake mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
