BEST BANANA BREAD 
1/4 c. melted butter (or butter Crisco)
1 c. sugar
1 egg
3 bananas, mashed
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. flour

Add sugar to melted butter and then eggs; beat well. Add mashed bananas and flour with soda. Mix well.

Bake in greased and floured loaf or tube pan at 350 degrees about 30 to 45 minutes.

NOTE: Very ripe (nearly rotten) bananas are best. Mix by hand only, use potato masher for bananas. Freezes well. Good hot, warm, cold or frozen.
