1 c. Crisco
1/2 c. unsifted confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (4 1/2 oz.) box milk chocolate stars or kisses

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream Crisco, sugar, blend in vanilla. Add flour, salt, mix until blended. Wrap about 2 teaspoons dough evenly around chocolate. Bake 10-12 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet (cookies brown on bottom only). Cool briefly; remove to wire rack - frost to decorate. Makes 40 cookies.
