“CABOOSTA CABBAGE SOUP” IS IN:

CABOOSTA CABBAGE SOUP 
6 cups water
1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1/2 to 2/3 head cabbage, shredded
1 1/2 cups boneless pork, diced
1 bay leaf
salt and pepper, to taste

In a soup pot over medium heat, combine water, tomatoes with juice, cabbage, pork and bay leaf. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low. Simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pork is cooked and cabbage is tender.

At serving time, discard bay leaf, season with salt and pepper.
