JELLO-BANANA BREAD | |
1/2 c. butter 3/4 c. sugar 1 egg, beaten 3 tbsp. milk 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. mashed bananas 1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jello, any flavor (apricot or strawberry are good) 1 tsp. baking powder 2 c. flour Cream butter; add sugar and egg. Mix well. In separate high bowl, combine milk, gelatin and soda. Mix; will fizz. Add bananas. Mix together with butter mixture. Add flour, sifted with baking powder to mixture and mix well. Pour into greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan. |
