PICKLED PEACHES 
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1 cinnamon stick
3 lg. peaches, peeled and quartered

Combine vinegar, sugar, and spices in a saucepan. Heat to boiling, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Add fruit, cover and simmer 10 minutes or until fruit is tender. Let stand 30 minutes before serving. Serve warm or cold. Good with chicken or ham.
