MOTHER MAC'S PUMPKIN PIE | |
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell 1 1/2 c. pumpkin 3/4 c. brown sugar Pinch of salt 1/4 tsp. ginger 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 or 3 eggs, slightly beaten 1 1/2 c. canned condensed milk 1 tbsp. butter Combine pumpkin, brown sugar, salt, ginger, cinnamon and mix in mixer. Add eggs and milk. Mix until smooth. Add butter. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Turn down heat to 375 degrees and bake until done. Test with a table knife; when knife comes out clean, it will be done. It takes about 45 minutes to bake; check frequently after 45 minutes. Can use other milk if you do not have canned milk (I never have used other than canned milk). |
