ALMOND BUTTER COOKIES 
1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar. Add almond extract. Add salt and flour. Mix well. Chill dough, at least 1 hour. Form 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheets. Flatten with a cookie stamp or bottom of a glass. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
