STUFF 
2 lbs. ground chuck
4 or 5 potatoes, shredded
4 or 5 carrots, shredded
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Velveeta cheese, sliced
Salt & pepper to taste

Crumble the raw hamburger loosely in the bottom of pan so the bottom is covered. Season the hamburger, then spread 1/2 of the onion. Cover hamburger with a layer of potatoes, then 1/2 of onion, then seasoning, then layer of carrots. Spread 1 can of cream of mushroom soup. Cover top with slices of Velveeta slices.

Bake covered with foil until last 15 minutes, then uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.
