RUM CAKE 
1 box Duncan Hines deluxe yellow cake mix
1 box instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. rum (or use 1 c. rum & omit water)
1/2 c. oil

GLAZE:

1 c. sugar
1 stick real butter
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. rum

Mix cake according to package directions and bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees. Make up glaze while cake is in oven. As soon as cake is out of the oven, pour the glaze over the top while cake is still in pan. Leave cake in pan 30 to 40 minutes to cool and soak up glaze. Then turn cake out onto a plate.
