MEXICAN LASAGNE 
2 lb.s ground beef
2 tbsp. oil
4 tbsp. minced onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
3 c. water
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. oregano
1 pkg. lasagna noodles
1 can (7 oz.) green chilies
1 1/2 lb. each Long Horn and Monterey Jack cheeses

Brown beef in oil, drain. Add next seven ingredients. Simmer for 15 minutes. Cook noodles per package. Grate cheese. Remove seeds and slice chilies. layer sauce, noodles, cheese and chilies. Bake for 30 mintues at 350 degrees.
