1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour

Cream sugars, butter and oil. Then add egg. Mix well and add the other ingredients. Roll in balls and press with glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 375 degrees, 10-12 minutes.
