1 c. sugar
2/3 c. milk
1 (4 oz. serving size) box instant pudding (any flavor)
2/3 c. butter
3 1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, butter and milk in saucepan. Bring to rolling boil and boil about 3 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in other ingredients. Let stand 5 minutes. Drop by rounded teaspoonful on waxed paper. Let cool. Store in refrigerator.

Make Christmas cookie by adding food coloring to pudding mix.
