6 WEEK BRAN MUFFINS 
1 pkg. (15 oz.) Bran Flakes with Raisins
3 c. sugar
5 tsp. baking soda
4 eggs, beaten
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. oil (or melted shortening)

Mix cereal with sugar, flour, baking soda, in a very large bowl, then add eggs, oil (or shortening), and buttermilk. Store in covered container in the refrigerator. Batter lasts 6 weeks.

To bake, fill muffin tins 2/3 full and bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 7-8 dozen muffins.
