CHILI CONCOCTION 
1 1/4 lbs. ground beef
1 c. chopped onions
1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt

Mix in heavy skillet the ground beef and onions. Break meat apart with fork and stir as it browns lightly. Stir in the remaining ingredients and heat to boiling. Lower heat and simmer, uncovered, 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Serves 4 to 6.
