PISTACHIO DESSERT 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. almond extract
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. Cool Whip
2 pkgs. (3 oz.) pistachio instant pudding
3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

CRUST:

butter
Cho pped nuts
Flour
Almond extract

Mix and pat in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool.

LAYER 1:
Cream cheese
Powdered sugar
Cool Whip

Mix together and spread over cooled crust.

LAYER 2:
Pistachio instant pudding
Milk
Vanilla

Beat until thick and spread over cheese layer. Chill. Just before serving, spread on a layer of Cool Whip and sprinkle top with chopped nuts. To make chocolate dessert, use 1 chocolate pudding and 1 vanilla pudding.
