CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 
1 chicken just covered in water in lg. pan, boiled until done, then remove bones and skin
Carrots, cut in pieces
Celery, cut in pieces
Onion, cut in pieces
Frozen peas

DUMPLINGS:

2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt or less
1 tsp. or more crushed or powdered oregano
1/4 c. vegetable oil
3/4 c. milk

Simmer chicken and broth while adding vegetables (beat to low boil). Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix dry ingredients and stir well. Drop in large globs onto chicken mixture.

Cook without lid for 10 minutes, then cook covered 10 minutes. Enjoy. If you diet allows, a little butter tastes good on the dumplings.
