BANANA SPLIT 
Graham cracker crumbs
2 or 3 bananas
1/2 gal. ice cream
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1 pkg. Dream Whip

Cover bottom of an 11 x 15 inch pan with graham cracker crumbs (reserve 1 cup for the top). Slice bananas crosswise and lay over crumbs. Slice ice cream in 1/2 inch thick slices and place over bananas. Sprinkle ice cream with the nuts. Freeze until firm.

Melt 1 cup chocolate chips and the milk together. Cook until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Remove from the heat and add the vanilla, butter and powdered sugar. Stir until smooth. Let cool, then pour over ice cream. Freeze until firm. Fix the Dream Whip. Spread over the chocolate layer and top with the reserved crumbs. Store in freezer, will keep for several weeks. A good cooler during the hot summer months.
