GREEN TOMATO "ROUNDS" PICKLES 
3 qt. sliced green tomatoes
3 lg. onions, sliced
1/2 c. salt
3 c. cider vinegar
3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. mustard seed
2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. tumeric
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Pinch of cayenne

Mix vegetables and salt. Let stand for 3 hours. Boil vinegar and spices for 5 minutes; add vegetables and cook until transparent. Process.

Makes 4 pints.
