GREEN BEANS 'N GRAVY 
6 strips bacon
2-3 tbsp. flour
2 1/2 lbs. green beans
Salt & pepper to taste

Boil beans until tender; drain. cut bacon into small blocks and fry until crisp. Drain off grease, saving about 2 tablespoons with the bacon. Add the flour and brown slightly. Add about 1 1/2 cups water to make a gravy. Add beans and simmer. Add salt and pepper to taste. Good with fresh or frozen beans.
