CHOCOLATE LOVERS CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIES
 
2 3/4 c. all purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (24 oz.) pkg. (4 c.) semisweet chocolate morsels
1 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt: set aside. In a large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar; beat until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla extract; beat until light and fluffy. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate morsels and pecans. Drop by well rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake about 10 minutes. Makes about 30 large cookies.

I always substitute an additional cup of chocolate chips as my children do not like pecans.
