NELLIE'S STRAWBERRY PIE 
1-1/2 c. Water
3/4 c. Sugar
2 tbsp. Cornstarch
8 oz. package of Strawberry Gelatin
Fresh Strawberries (as many as you like)
Cool Whip or Whipped Cream

Combine Water, Sugar and Cornstarch into a saucepan. Cook until thick and clear. Remove from heat then add Strawberry Gelatin to saucepan.

Arrange fresh sliced strawberries in a baked Pie Shell (you may want to save some whole Strawberries to garnish the pie after cooling) Pour mixture from saucepan over the sliced Strawberries, cover with Saran wrap and refrigerate until cooled (pie will feel firm to the touch). Once pie has chilled remove Saran wrap then top Pie with Cool Whip or Whip Cream. You may want to garnish the Pie with the remaining whole Strawberries.
