FLAKY PIE CRUST 
1 1/4 c. shortening
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
5 tbsp. water
2 tsp. vinegar (apple cider)

Mix the ingredients with fork and by hand. Wet counter top and place a strip of Saran Wrap down. Place dough on surface and place a piece of Saran Wrap on top of dough. Roll dough.

Bake at 425°F for 8 minutes or until brown. Watch closely.
